My Story
Heya, I'm Alyssa. Senior (fifth year, here forever) studio art major with a minor in psychology. I enjoy binge watching trash television, cooking, reading, mild outdoor activities, World War era historical drama, and podcast about the occult. This is my third year as a mentor.
Personality
So part of college is you take a hundred personality test and my results are as follows: Meyers Briggs - INTP. How to fascinate - The Secret Weapon (Mystique and Innovation). Four colors thing - Green. Hogwarts House - Slytherclaw (Its a legit 50/50). Alignment - Chaotic neutral
Honors Involvement
My first year in Honors I was very active in the Service committee. My sophomore and junior year I was an Honors mentor. My junior year I also attended SRHC (conference) and completed an Honors by Contract course. Last year I served as the Honors Council Vice President and Assistant Lead Mentor.
Art!
As a studio art major here at UWF, I have had the amazing opportunity to experience many forms of artistic technique in illustration, painting, sculpture, and ceramics. I'm a firm believer in the important role art plays in society as an expressive tool to build connections and foster conversations.
Nature
Although I enjoy the outdoors, I'm no survivalist. My light nature activities include hiking, exploring forest, reading outside, camping, and hammocking. I'm not a big fan of the beach, so most of my outside time is spent under a tree or in the woods.
Exploring
I've had the great pleasure of being raised in a pseudo-bohemian household guided by my mother's wanderlust. My life has been filled with travel and a love of exploration. We seek to know the unknown, from urban exploration and graveyard strolls to museum visits and historical landmarks.
