Bryan Hernandez

If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be 'Ambitious'. I am dedicated in every single thing I do; from school to sports to organizations; I always work hard to achieve success. Having always been a hard worker I have achieved recognition but the best is the service I have implemented.

I am the Key Club Vice President at McKinney North High school (2015-16) I attended the District Convention in Dallas, TX in February (2015). The thing that I love the most about being involved in this club is the change that I'm able to have and the impact in my community.

AVID has been the biggest support throughout my high school career. I am able to focus in college research as I improve and maintain my high grades. I am grateful for the many things that AVID has taught me not just academically but in life and real world lessons.

Blue Blazers are McKinney North's student ambassadors and our job is to attend teacher meetings and staff events to present the student's point of view in the class environment.

I am the president of MNHS' Spanish club. I found an interest to be involved through simply leading and mentoring students who share the same language as myself. Many projects and completion have occurred which I enjoyed being a part of.

Cultural Studies Society is a club in which I co-founded in the last year. It is based around history, language, and culture. Emphasizing the importance of being informed and open minded espcially to other cultures and religions. This club has brought students together.

I have had a successful tennis career in high school. I have played for McKinney North's Junior Varsity for two years (sophomore/Junior) Joining a sport was the hardest decision that I made in high school, but thankfully had a positive result as I learned and improved.

Rotary Club is a school organization that awards students with graduation cords for their academic excellence each year. I have received cords for freshman and sophomore year so far.

Green cord is a community service organization that awards students with a green graduation cord for completing a minimum of 100 hours of community service a year. I have completed 345 hours throughout high school.( sophomore/junior/senior)

National Honor Society is a nation wide organization that awards students for having a Grade Point Average above 3.0 .I was elected the National Honor Society Historian (2015-16)
