My Story
I live in a family that loves to push me to pursue my own dreams. My family and friends are always supporting me, and I am very grateful to have them in my life.
Colorguard
I joined Glen Burnie High School's Colorguard when I was in 6th grade. During competitions, I am able to express my enjoyment of performing and dancing. I made many friends over the years and guard is a second family to me.
Drumline
It's loud and exciting! A place to express your musical skills! In drumline I play the vibraphone which is in the front ensemble section of drumline (also known as the pit).
Outstanding Student Achiever's Award
I was chosen along with two other students from my school to be in Capital Gazette's newspaper for being awarded as an outstanding student achiever.
November 2014 Congress of Future Medical Leaders
During this convention, I met many medical leaders and fellow students that share the same dream as me. I was able to hear their stories of how they got to be where they are now, as doctors or patients inspiring other people to follow their dreams.
Bio-Medical and Allied Health (BMAH) Program
I am part of a magnet program called Bio-Medical and Allied Health (BMAH). In this program at my school, I take BioScience classes such as Project Lead The Way Biomedical courses. We go on many job shadows to hospitals and participate in many lab experiments to prepare ourselves for college.
Nature Photography
I love to take pictures, especially of beautiful scenery. The world has many surprises and gifts and sometimes the best way to capture them is through the lens of a camera.
A Girl's Best Friend
Nobody knows me more than my best friend Angel! I known her since I was 7 years old and I love spending time with her. One of my favorite things to do with her is take random pictures, for long lasting memories. Did I mention she's a dog!
