My Story
I was born and raised in a Mexican household, which is the reason why I am a firm believer in strength and integrity. Although those paths are difficult for me to follow, I am proud of who I am and I am more than ready to understand our past and our future.
Photography
At the beginning of summer 2014, I found a passion of mines, which is photography. I like to capture nature's beauty, and places that I believe are memorable. I am learning to fall in love with the world around me, one picture at a time.
Volunteer Work
When I entered YES Prep, I realized that volunteering not only creates a structure in a community, but also in yourself. It really lets the feeling of affection sink in.
Biking
At the age of 7, I found a passion on riding my bicycle throughout my neighborhood or parks. Whether it is alone or with someone else. I decided to do this, because it helps me release stress.
Reading
I find literature very interesting and I see it as a form of art. I like to think that a lot of my knowledge reflects on the reading skills I've acquired throughout the years.
