My Story
My name is David Vega and I am a latino male ready to make a difference in my community. I was born and raised in the south west part of Houston. Driven by my brother's example, I joined YES Prep in order to achieve my dream of giving back to the community. I hope to make this place great ,one day .
West Varsity Soccer Team
The Yes Prep West Soccer Team has been a part of my life since I entered the school. It has helped me develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills that I will use for the rest of my life.
Name That Book Compettion
This is a competition where peopole read books and were asked to identify them given any random quote. It was a great experience and I had alot of fun doing it. I learned to love lirature again, and got to make close friends.Yes Prep West has now won 2 times in the last 3 years. Current champions.
