Erin Cooney

I have lived in the same small town my whole life but am now ready to experience the world. I grew up with an energetic little brother, and two highly supportive parents! For most of my childhood my dad was stationed overseas, which taught me a lot about responsibility and maturity at a young age.

My field hockey team has been the most influential part of my high school career. As the captain of my team I led us to districts. I have made life long friends and developed leadership skills. My team and I do everything together from eating loads of pasta to washing cars for charity.

Who says girls sports aren't competitive?! Lacrosse has tought me how to be a fierce competitior with a large dose of humble. In a competitive regional school district my team and I showed over 2,000 students our spirit and determination not to mention our athletic prose.

"DECA is a business club that specializes in the growth in areas such as marketing, management, finance/accounting, and service." I've enjoyed participating in DECA for majority of my high school career. I was selected to represent our high school in Districts and State finals. Awesome experience!

Whats hard and delicious, takes a lot of patience and puts a smile on everyones face? ICE CREAM! Scooping ice cream may seem like a fun job, and it is, but it is hard work! It takes muscle, outstanding customer service, and the ability to multitask!

For the past three summers I have had the oppertunity to live at the beach while taking care of 3 children. It is the be best of both worlds; making money while having fun! Babysitting may sound like a chore but throw in some sand, surf, and sun and it can be so much more!
