Erin Lipp

I was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan. I will be completing my undergrad degree in Accounting in the fall of 2018 and my graduate degree at Michigan Tech in the fall of 2019. I spend a lot of my time adventuring and traveling with my family, friends, and teammates.

I am a member of the Michigan Tech Varsity Nordic Ski team. We have some of the best trails in the country right here on campus that are also used for running and biking. We spend lots of time all over the country training and racing, including West Yellowstone shown to the right!

I am also a member of the Michigan Tech Varsity Track team. I am a 400 hurdler for the team and I have met some incredible people on this team as well! We often spend spring break in Myrtle Beach and get to compete against some teams from across the country.

My whole life my family has been very active and spends a lot of time adventuring all over the US. I love going out West in the mountains, but the Keweenaw Peninsula also has some of the best views and outdoor opportunities!

Lastly, I am a member of the Cross country team at Michigan Tech, but I have spent the past 10 or so year doing various road and trail races ranging from 5k's to half marathons. I enjoy spending time with the running team as well as challenging myself with longer races!

We have just recently restarted the MTU School of Business and Economics Student Ambassador program and I'm very excited to be a part of it!
