Frida Perez

Hi My name is Frida Angela Perez :)) I'm a cheerleader at Yes Prep West . And some of my interests are cheering , and dancing . Some communitys that I am part of is yes prep, and my church community . I am interested in forensics . And I live in Houston Texas with my mother and my little brother.

I showed leadership by being a good big sister to my little brother. This is showing leadership because my brother (Sergio) is looking up to me and following my steps. This would help me get into college or university by showing them the responsibility I take care in my everyday life.

I started cheering when I was in elementary. I really enjoy cheering for my team to keep working hard and to not give up. Cheering for me is a skill I have because I enjoy it and it makes me feel better when I cheer. The picture on the side is me and my friend before we cheered for a game.

I have positive self concept when in 8th grade my teacher told me that I was at risk to fail middle school. So I had to try really hard to get my grade up. And ended up graduating with good grades :)

My long range goal is to graduate high school with a high GPA and to go to college or a university. In order to complete my LRG is to get help when I need some help and to work really hard in school . This would help me get into college/university so they can see the hard work I do.

I consider my friends as my community because they are there for me and we do a lot of fun stuff together. And they are like my family to me. And we are there for each other when something happens.

A non-traditional knowledge is dancing , because I love dancing .When I dance I feel like my body is free to move with the rhythm. It really takes out the stress I have .This can help me get into college so I can get into activities outside of education .

I have demonstrated Positive Self Concept by feeling confident in going to college and graduate. This would help me get into college/university by them knowing that I have confident in my self.

for my RSA I will try to improve in math because math isn't my strongest subject. but in order to do that I will have to go to tutorials and ask for more help .

for leadership , I went to the houston food bank to do a service trip . I showed leadership by helping with my friends.
