My Story
Outside of school I love hanging out with my friends, traveling with my family, taking and editing photos, and reading. I work at Mellow Mushroom and write for the community magazine. I hope to use my technology, people, and writing skills in my future career.
New Albany Key Club
I helped with service projects for a multitude of causes and spent many hours volunteering for projects such as: Solar New Albany, Sock Project for Nursing Homes, Halloween Bake Sale, Trick-or-treat for UNICEF, Ronald McDonald House, Special Needs Brunch, and Car Wash for UNICEF.
UNCHAINED Fashion Show
UNCHAINED is an organization designed to spread awareness about human trafficking and educate the public to stop this horrendous crime in society. I was mainly involved with selling baked goods to raise money, generating ticket sales, creating posters, and modeling in the show.
Internship at Buckeye Interactive
For my Senior Seminar Project at New Albany High School, I completed an internship with Buckeye Interactive. This company specializes in web design and development. I went for a total of 106 hours, creating my own website and learning the basics of design and development.
Varsity Field Hockey
Playing on a sports team was one of the best parts of high school, and I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with my teammates. I played all four years, loving the camaraderie and competitiveness between us and the other teams. Learning to win for each other was so critical to our success.
Photography
I have loved photography ever since I received my first camera to take on our trip to India when I was 10. I enjoy taking photos of people the most. Most of these photos are raw images. I know how to edit with Photoshop and Lightroom, but I prefer the natural beauty of a photo.
Amnesty International
Amnesty International is the global movement of people promoting human rights and fighting injustices. I am the Social Media Coordinator for the New Albany Amnesty International Club. I attended a weekend long conference to network and train as an activist.
Ohio University Camps Multimedia & Journalism
I attended two camps at Ohio University, a Multimedia camp and a Journalism camp.
Young Life
Young Life has helped me discover my faith and helped me develop long lasting friendships. I went to camp two times and had the best weeks of my life there. I enjoy the fellowship Young Life brings and I am so blessed to be apart of something so great.
