My Story

5 year Navy Vet. Currently a TCU Horned Frog. TCU '20. My passions are fitness and the 2nd amendment. Instagram: johnny_gonzo

Powerlifting

I started power lifting after football season of my freshman year of high school and have been actively lifting my entire time in the Navy. I am 6'1", 195lbs currently and hope to compete in power lifting competitions soon. My top 3 personal records: Squat: 410lbs. Deadlift: 535lbs. Bench: 325lbs.

My Shih Tzu named "Doc"

I recently got a puppy because I'm leaving the Navy and also leaving the comradery I have built with my fellow service members. The reason for the name is cause my marine snipers in my platoon call me Doc. It's a cherished named I won't hear after I separate.

Southern California

Texas will always be #1 in my heart but SoCal sunny days are great and I encourage all to visit.

Deployment to Southeast Asia

Football

I've played all my life, starting from pop warner to my senior year. I was the team founder/captain of the 2x champion team for the base flag football league in Beaufort, South Carolina. It would be a dream come true to play at the collegiate level. Position: MLB.

Veteran

Served 5 years active duty in the Navy as an FMF Corpsman. Rank: HM2 (E-5). Stationed in Beaufort, SC for 2 years and Camp Pendleton, California for 2 years with 1st Battalion/ 5th Marines Scout Sniper Platoon.
