My Story
I am a trilingual senior in high school at Chengdu International School. I was born in America, but shortly after moved to China. I am what you call a "third culture kid" growing up in China for my whole life. Being raised in China all my life has been unique and I would not trade it for anything.
Humanitrain Service trips
The last 3 summers I have had the amazing opportunity to visit Durban, South Africa, Kathmandu, Nepal, and ChiangMai, Thailand. These trips involved working with various orphanages and organizations like the International Justice Mission.
Varsity Athletics
From freshman to senior year I have participated in many different varsity athletic sports. I was the captain of the Chengdu International School varsity basketball team my junior and senior year. I love how sports allow students to display gifts and skills outside of the class room.
Intel International Science and engineering fair
In 2014 and 2015, my science fair project in the field of microbiology was picked to represent all international schools in China at the INTEL ISEF fair in Los angeles and Pittsburgh. In both years, I won the society for in In Vitro biology award.
Travel
Growing up all my life in China has given me many different opportunities to travel and see the world. I am blessed to say that i have been to 22 countries and 4 continents.I love to travel to new places and see the world and different cultures. All these photos were taken from my Iphone. Enjoy!
