It takes a village and my village is the best. In 17 years I got two step parents, two step brothers, three brothers, a sister and endless trips to New York to visit my Dad and my two youngest brothers. My Grandparents are also my neighbors. Dinners are crowded but they're also a lot of fun!

Young Life taught me exactly who I was and what I was made for. I am created by God and for a relationship with God. A relationship that brings lasting joy and life. Young life club every Thursday gives me a glimpse into the joy that God created me to feel and amazing people to help me on my path.

Part of our curriculum at Mount Vernon includes a year long interest based project. I chose to spend my project time as a teacher's assistant in Kelly Fitzgerald's First Grade Class. I learned so much about leadership and what I want to do in the future.

The best party planners you will ever meet! Youth Activities Council plans all the regional events for the Disciples of Christ Denomination. Our biggest events is Regional Assembly in which all the youth gather for a weekend of worship. We also plan events to keep our youth connected all year!

Cheering is my passion, stress relief and something I am so proud of. I have gotten to be a Captain since Sophomore Year and will be a part of the first ever competition squad at Mount Vernon. I love all of it with my whole heart and something I really want to pursue in college.

My Great Grandparents were charter members of Peachtree Christian Church in 1925. Since then my whole family has been coming to this place on Sunday's to worship. I have also been active in the Youth Group since seventh grade. Peachtree is my second home and where I met my best friends.

The Christian Acting Singing Troupe has been a part of my Church for over thirty years. My mom was a member of the first play they ever did. C.A.S.T is a ministry that uses acting and musicals to spread God's word. During the first week of summer we take our play on tour and perform along the way.
