My Story
I am a theatre, music, Jesus, family, friends, coffee, The Office, debate, ukulele & Royals enthusiast.
Theatre
I fell in love with theatre in 4th grade. I have now been in 22 different shows at about 4 different theatres. I have also taken numerous classes, such as theatrical dance, improvisational theatre, dramatic one acts, and more. I am now heavily involved with Liberty High Schools Theatre Department.
Choir
Choir has been so important to be to build essential aspects of my life like teamwork, confidence, patience, skill work, and so much more. This year I am in both top choirs at Liberty, Chamber & Concert, and I hope that I can continue to contribute to the vocal music department.
Church Youth Group
At Heartland Church of Christ, I am committed to my youth group. I go on mission trips almost every year (specifically to El Salvador), do volunteer work around the community, attend bible camps each summer, and lead bible studies to help bring others to Christ.
Debate
I began debate in high school, starting Freshman year. Since then I have been competing at tournaments all around the Kansas City area, including a congress district tournament this year. Debate has become a staple in my life for social skills, and for learning how to effectively be part of a team.
Tae Kwon Do
I took Tae Kwon Do in 8th and 9th grade, and graduated to a red belt. I decided to focus on other things this year, however TKD has done so much to develop my respect, confidence, and team building through a means of a martial art. It was a really cool experience that I hope to go back to someday.
