My Story
You may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated - Maya Angelo.
What I love most about my life is that I have friends and family that support and care what I do with my life. I'm passionate about sports and family. I'm outgoing and funny.
Close-Up Washington DC
The summer of June 2016 my classmates and I had the opportunity to go to Washington DC for a 1 week trip to study government and politics. This helped me learn more about why the U.S is run the way it is because of the past. I got to experience different culture because of the diversity of people.
Volunteer work at church
From teaching kids about God to going to help the homeless, church is a big part of my life. I've learned to love others, to reach out to my community and to put others before me.
Basketball
I didn't know a thing about basketball, all I knew is that my dad had always had a passion for the game, which was the reason why I joined the middle school team. Little did I know that it would shape me into the person I have become, a leader, encourager, supporter, confident, and team player.
Cross Country
Cross country is one of the most challengingly, but most rewarded activity I participate in. I have grown as student athlete balancing classes and growing as a running.
