My Story
I am a little island girl in a single parent home. I graduated as Valedictorian and attained the most outstanding youth award. I am involved in 8 extracurricular activities including Sailing, debate, Music and art!
Sailing
I've been president of the Exuma Sailing club for over 4 years now. We have sailed everything from the Sunfish to a Catalina! We are also known for our community service.
Art
Art has always been my escape. Since my mother is an art teacher I learnt at a pretty young age and have attained the Top High School Artist in the Bahamas!
Music
I started music as soon as I entered high school and had fallen in love with the smooth sounds of woodwind instruments. From then I was involved with the Exuma Community Youth Marching Band and have been recognized for my talent throughout the Bahamas.
Junior Director of Tourism
As top speaker of my district I had attained the Junior Director of Tourism for Exuma, 2015-2016. After which I went into a National speech competition and got 4th overall!
Debate Team
As president of the debate team, my team and I traveled to the capital and competed in the national debate.
