Samantha Kirk

My technical theatre career began in the 8th grade when I was asked to stage manage a production of Dear Edwina. My passion for stage management and technical theatre only grew from there, and I would soon be adding big names like the Wizard of Oz, Avenue Q, Into the Woods, and Hair under my belt.

FACT is Wisconsin's statewide youth tobacco prevention movement utilizing peer to peer advocacy to spread the truth about tobacco. I've gotten many incredible opportunities through my work in FACT, including the chance to sit on a panel in Albuquerque, NM, and comprehensive trainings in Madison, WI.

I formally became involved with the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids in May 2016 when I was selected to be one of their National Youth Ambassadors. My term began in Washington DC in July with the other 20 ambassadors, where we got comprehensive training, lobbied on Capitol Hill, and became a family.
