My Story
Hi everyone! My name is Selin. I am from Turkey, Istanbul. Turkey is a country that is both in Asia and in Europe. I am currently in Enka Schools and I will graduate in 2017. In this page I will show you my passions and activities. I hope you will enjoy them.
Model United Nations
I have been in the Model United Nations (MUN) for two years and its been one of the best choices for me because I love to debate that is mostly about valid issues that affects our whole world. I also went to Round Square exchange program, where we did a lot of debates about sustainability.
Volleyball
I started volleyball when I was in second grade. Since then, it became one of my favorite sports. It takes commitment, tenacity and a strong teamwork. I would really want to keep this work going in college.
Community Service
I have been doing community service since middle school but it I started to do it continuously after high school. I created and participated in many projects. It is true happiness when your achievements makes someone else happy. These projects help me a difference in the community and in the world.
Acting
I always had an interest in acting but I started working on in when I joined a play in 1st grade. After that, I realized that it was an amazing way to express various emotions. Even if it takes long hours of work I never get tired of it. I have been to summer camps about acting and did many plays.
Photography
I started photography when my mother signed me into a photography class and I ended up really enjoying it. It is a unique way of expression. I highly recommend it; it will expand your vision like it did mine.

Invention Project
There are invention projects in Turkey that are global. I entered an invention projects gallery in a university called Istanbul Bilgi on 2014. I also started to make this clock that is powered by milk. These projects are huge passion of mine. I even wanted to be an inventor when I was younger.
