Hi, I'm Shangjie. I was born in Xi'an, China, a historical city. As a member of a traditional Chinese family and communities, I have many siblings and close friends to share fun with. Moreover, the city Xi'an has instilled dignity and creativity into me. I'm glad to make new friends! Cheers!

Through the one-month summer camp D. Shapiro and elite counselors, we had great fun digging into deep mathematics and researching on even simple questions. Listening to their inspiring lectures and discussing rewarded me a bountiful research experience and a beautiful memory
mahjong
Since 5, I’ve developed an ardent interest in mahjong, a historical Chinese board game. The game itself is not hard to learn, but what appeals to me most is its innumerable variations and the fun to be together with my family. What blissful scene of my old grandma along with my younger sister!
Ballgames
I cannot live without sports, especially ballgames. Whether billiards, basketball, ping-pong ball or badminton, I personally think I master them pretty well. (haha) I love the feeling of controling, high-speed and preciseness, and always forget any sadness when playing these games.
Piano
I've played piano for over 13 years. While pop music comes like a big storm, the beauty of classic music can never be replaced. I love the brightness of Mozart's sonata, the violence of Beethoven's symphony and the nobleness of Chopin's waltz...
My zoo
Cute animals! With the help of my grandma, I set up my small zoo at the backyard of my grandma's house, where you can find cats, a wolfhound, chickens, rabbits...Come and see them!
Community Service
Try out some brand new types of community service! We Organized class birthday party and extended thanks to our parents. I welcomed classmates in residence to my home and entertained them with food and warmth on weekends. We got up early at Sundays and help clean a temple near our school...
