My Story
I was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 5, 1998. When I was three I moved to Cedar Hill, Texas with my three sisters and my parents. Fast forward to now and I attend Cedar Hill Collegiate High School, where I take 3-4 college classes every semester. Even though it's difficult I still persevere.
Select Softball
I have played on a select team for 5 years and have been with my current team for 3 years. For my current team I am the team captain where I make sure all my teammates are working hard. I have earned awards such as MVP, Gold Glove, and Batting Champion.
NHS Volunteer Coordinator
I am currently the Volunteer Coordinator for my schools National Honors Society (NHS). I am creating opportunities for my organization to volunteer at animal shelters, Color Runs, and an ALS Walk. We will also help our school by tutoring others who need help. So far its an amazing experience.
ASA Umpire
During my Sophomore year I decided to umpire at my local city's softball league (Cedar Hill Girls Softball Association). It was an amazing experience and I plan to go back and help out again.
Bo's Bakery
Bo's Bakery is a business that I created to sell cupcakes with my friend. I bake the cupcakes and she delivers. We are currently working on a website to start doing deliveries outside of Cedar Hill. This business has taught me how important it is to manage time and money when in a business.
Outfield Consultant for 14u Sheeley Pride
For a year I have been volunteering my time to help teach the basics of outfielding for the 14u USSSA Pride Sheeley. This experience has taught me patience when dealing with girls who are younger than me. I had a wonderful time and will continue volunteering next year.
High School Softball
For three years I have been apart of my school's softball team. During this time, I was the pitcher and outfielder, and I made varsity during my Sophmore and Junior year. However, my Senior year I have decided to get involved with the community more so I will be stepping down from this amazing team.
Member of National Society of High School Scholars
I am apart of the National Society of High School Scholars which is an organization for intelligent and hardworking students such as myself. This organization keeps me involved and shows me different volunteer opportunities I can participate in.
Mayor Teen Council
I have recently been accepted in Mayor Teen Council where a group of Teens give their ideas to help out the community.
Phi Theta Kappa Member
I have recently been accepted in my community college's Phi Theta Kappa which is an honors society within Cedar Valley College. I will be able to volunteer around the campus and give my time in helping others.
