My Story

Hi, my name is Taylor and I live in a small, rural community known as Ray Township. Since Kindergarten, I have attended Lutheran school and have loved every second of it. My group of life-long friends and my family are what keep me grounded as I navigate the river of life.

Mission Trips

My mission trips to Guatemala, Milwaukee, and Denver have been some of the best experiences of my life. Helping others is in my DNA, and I have never felt more like myself while I was on these trips. I am looking forward to participating in many more mission trips in the future!

Golf

I have played golf for around five years now. I play with my family, as well as on my school's team, where I have made some of my best friends. Golf is a very challenging sport, but it teaches a person some of the most important lessons of life.

Theater

From putting on plays with my cousins when I was ten, to performing in front of over one thousand people at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts, I have always loved theater. Nothing beats performing and bringing a smile to someone's face.

Art

Ever since I was little, I have always loved art, especially painting and abstract art. It provides a creative escape from the world. I took several art classes at my school and absolutely loved them all.

Student Council and National Honors Society

I have been involved with NHS since junior year, holding an elected position as Individual Project Coordinator. We have volunteered at Special Olympics and Glen Peters School for disabled children. I have also been a part of Student Council my senior year, holding the position of Treasurer.
