My Story
Iām just a believer that all you need is sunshine, freedom, and a little flower to formulate happiness. I'm an Asian American girl studying in a small, tight knit, bilingual high school in Taiwan. I live life to the fullest by exploring different activities and classes. š
Model United Nation
MUN served as a way for me to gain more self confidence, whether it is in public speaking or making new friends! As I matured, the conference at my school developed as well. I was honored to be able to serve as administration head and deputy secretary general before I graduate!
Cheerleading
In IBSH cheerleading, we grow together as a team in learning techniques in dancing and stunts while bringing school spirit during school-wide events! We always perform during field day and school anniversary; recently, we started going national competitions, in which we received 4th place!
Choir { Singing }
Singing was a way for me to express myself after having a hard transition in moving to Taiwan. It was because of choir class that I was able to meet more people from other schools!
VYA: Olango Philippines
During the summer of 2014, I had the honor to go teach children at Olango, Philippines. It was a life-changing experience because it was first international volunteer trips I got to go on. After this experience, I am even more motivated to serve as a global citizen to serve our global community!
Programming
Learning how to program is one of the hardest skills I am learning now. However, this activity challenges me to think more logically and pushes me to never give up! I started attending several competitions to train myself to be more familiar in java.
